VexLink ("we", "our", "us") is a product of VexAI, a business registered in Malaysia. We are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Data We Collect

Account Data: Username, email address, password (encrypted/hashed — we cannot read it).

Profile Data (voluntary): Display name, bio, avatar image, social media usernames.

Content Data: Links you create (titles, URLs, icons).

Usage Data: Page views, link clicks, device type (mobile/desktop), referrer URL.

We do NOT collect: government ID, financial information, health data, precise location, or data from minors under 18.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate VexLink (contractual necessity)
• To display your public profile page
• To show you analytics about your page
• To send updates and tips (only if you opted in — consent basis)
• To improve our services

3. Legal Basis

Under PDPA 2010, we process your data based on: (a) your consent given during registration, and (b) contractual necessity to provide the service you requested.

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Public: Your profile page (username, display name, bio, avatar, links) is publicly visible — this is the core service.
• Service providers: Hosting and infrastructure providers who help us operate VexLink.
• Legal requirements: If required by Malaysian law or court order.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We use HTTPS encryption for all connections.

6. Your Rights Under PDPA

• Access: Export all your data from Settings > Export Data.
• Correction: Update your profile anytime from the Dashboard.
• Deletion: Delete your account and all data from Settings > Delete Account.
• Withdraw consent: Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 24 hours.

8. Marketing Communications

We only send marketing emails if you opted in during signup. You can unsubscribe at any time.

9. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

VexLink is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
